The Institute of Humanities (IOH) at Pan-Atlantic University, in collaboration with Strathmore Law School (SLS) at Strathmore University, is set to host an international conference titled “The Application of Natural Law Principles and Methods to Addressing Contemporary Issues affecting Human Dignity in Social, Economic, Political, Legal, and Technological Contexts.”

The conference will take place from August 14th to 17th, 2024, at Pan-Atlantic University’s main campus in Lagos, Nigeria.

The conference will feature keynote speakers Prof. Juan Carlos Riofrio, Professor of Jurisprudence and Human Rights at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya and Prof. Juan Manuel Elegido, Professor of Business Ethics and former Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University.

The first day of the conference will feature a panel discussion with distinguished speakers, including Dr. Adaora Onaga, Director of IOH at Pan-Atlantic University; Dr. Ikechukwu Obiaya, Dean of SMC at Pan-Atlantic University; Henry Okoede, Senior Manager of Strategy & Innovation at MTN Group South Africa; Meg Isebor, Faculty at Lagos Business School; and Ikechukwu Onuoma (SAN), Managing Partner at Obra Legal.

Ikechukwu Onuoma, SAN, is a highly respected legal professional and the Managing Partner of Obra Legal. He has been recognized for his consistency, hard work, resilience, and integrity, earning the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria at a young age.
