The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has issued Notice No. 4, announcing the call for nominations for the upcoming 2024 NBA Elections.

This notice follows the previously released ECNBA Notice No. 2 (Notice of Elections) dated 1st March 2024 and Notice No. 3 (Guidelines for the 2024 Elections) dated 11th March 2024.
As per the provisions of Part VII (2) (b) of the Constitution of the Nigerian Bar Association 2015 (as amended in 2021), nominations for candidates must be received at least 90 days before the election date, which is set for 20th July 2024. Intending candidates are required to obtain nomination forms from the ECNBA Secretariat or download them from www.ecnba.org and complete them as required.
The submission deadline is Friday, 5th April 2024, and the ECNBA Secretariat will be open between 09:00 and 17:00 hours to distribute and receive nomination forms from NBA members.
Completed nomination forms must be submitted physically in a sealed envelope clearly marked “ECNBA 2024” or sent by a reputable courier company addressed to:

Any unsealed envelopes will be rejected, and once submitted, the forms cannot be retrieved. Candidates may choose to send a notification of submission of their nomination forms to the Secretary of the ECNBA by email at info@ecnba.org, upon confirmation of the handover of the hard copies to the address provided.
The notice is dated 11th March 2024 and signed by the Chairman of the ECNBA, Oluseun Abimbola SAN, and the Secretary, Huwaila Ibrahim.
