The Nigerian Bar Association has constituted Committee for the 2020 general election.

The Electoral Committee was constituted on Thursday at the NEC meeting of the NBA, held at NBA National House, Abuja.
The Members of the Electoral Committee of the (ECNBA) 2020 National Elections were sworn in by NBA President Paul Usoro, SAN, immediately after the committee was constituted.
Taiwo Eja Taiwo, SAN is appointed to head the committee.

Prof. Augustine Agom –Member
Alozie Echeonwu–Member
Abdullahi Haruna– Member
Brief Profile about the Chairman, Tawo E. Tawo
Mr. Tawo E. Tawo, Senior Advocate of Nigeria is a graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he obtained a Bachelors of Law (LLB) degree in 1986 and was called to bar in 1987.
His legal career commenced in the law firm of H.S. Usman & Co., Kaduna, durign his National Youth Service (NYSC) in 1987. Upon completion of the National Service, he was retained by the Law Firm where he underwent pupilage as Counsel from 1988 to 1990.
Mr. Tawo set up his own legal practice in name of Tawo E. Tawo & Co. (now Tawo E. Tawo, SAN & Co.) in 1991 and since then has been in active legal practice.
In the course of his legal career Mr. Tawo attended several seminars, workshops and courses. Some of the seminars/workshops attended included Law and Practice of Banking, National Workshop on World Bank Standard Procedures for Privatization Adivsers organized by the National Council on Privatization, Course on Arbitration organized by Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London, First Conference on Electricity Consumers organized by Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission and Conference on Economic Law Practice in Nigeria organized by Section on Business Law of the Nigeria Bar Association.
He has been engaged in Receivership and Liquidation of some companies and participated in the Liquidation of Nigeria Paper Mills Limited, Jeba, Kwara State, as a member of the Committee of Inspection. Apart from core litigation and advocacy, Mr. Tawo has a flair for Minerals and Mining Law, Admiralty and Marine Law, Oil and Gas and Arbitration.
The Principal Partner is a member of the Inner Bar, a Notary Public, an Arbitrator and a member of the International Bar Association.
