A High Court in Abia State has dismissed a motion of interim injunction seeking to nullify the suspension of the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Joyce Oduah pending the determination of the substantive suit.

Recall that one Victor Nwaugo, a supporter of the suspended GS had earlier filed an action at the High Court of Abia State challenging her recent suspension.

Nwaugo is an associate and known supporter of suspended General Secretary, Madam Joyce Oduah

The embattled General Secretary has also filed a similar action at the Federal High Court in Abuja seeking the same orders to set aside her suspension.

Lady Joyce Oduah was suspended by the National Executive Committee for gross misconduct and dereliction of duty.
