*Lists Program For The Law Week
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Awka branch is inviting the general public, most especially members of the Legal Profession set her 25th Annual Law Week.
The event which is slated for 13th to 16th May 2021, promises to be different as dignitaries and programs have been lined up for the benefit of participants.
Among dignitaries set to grace this year’s Law week are: His Excellency Chief (Dr) Willie Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, the Chief Judge of Anambra State, Justice O.M Anyachebelu, who will serve as the Chief Guest of Honour, Chief Mike Ozekhome SA, as Keynote Speaker while the President Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Mr. Olumide Akpata, is the Special Guest of Honour.
According to the statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer by the Chairman 2021 Law Week Planning Committee, K.O. Nwanna Esq., this year’s Law week is themed: Legal Profession In A Lawless Society: Rediscovering Law As A Tool For Social Change.
He said this year’s Law Week would witness a set of professional activities ranging from the Launching of Awka Capital Journal (ACBJ) Vol. 2, Symposia, Law Dinner, and Lawn Tennis competition.
“The Law Week would be graciously end by a Thanksgiving MASS on Sunday,” he added.
