NBA Awka Branch Loses Member, Chiamaka Okpalaeke-Obidi, Esq., Dies After Child Birth

Mrs. Chiamaka Okpalaeke-Obidi, Esq., an Awka based Lawyer, and activist has reportedly died after giving birth to her newborn baby.

This is contained in a statement issued by Okoli Joy Millicent Nwachineke when she took to her Facebook page and said:

“I woke up this morning to the news of your demise my learned friend and schoolmate. I can’t believe you are gone to be with your maker. My heart bleeds that a beautiful soul like you is nowhere to be found. May God console your husband, mum, relatives, and the newborn baby you left behind.”

Another relative, Chris Nwabu Okpalaeke took his Facebook page at about 11:02 PM yesterday where he wrote:

“I am yet to believe you are gone to be seen no more. Kosi and Kamsi have been asking “why can’t God treat aunty?” (. . . if only they know you’ve gone forever)

Meanwhile, prior to her death, she was a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Akwa Branch and attended Anambra State University.
