* To subsidize Lagos-Abuja Flights at N18,000

The Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) has announced its partnership with Dana Airlines Ltd to provide a special discounted flight rate and other incentives to Lawyers traveling from Abuja to Lagos for the 2019 Annual General Conference.

This announcement was made by the Branch Chairman, Mr. Folarin Aluko, at the Monthly Branch Meeting which held on the 5th day of July 2019 at the Auditorium, Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, FCT.

Addressing members of the Branch, Mr. Folarin stated that the intervention is “an incentive to encourage lawyers resident in the FCT and its environs to attend the AGC in comfort, at a flat rate of N18,000 (Eighteen Thousand Naira) only, one-way, and N36,000 (Thirty Six Thousand Naira) only, round trip to Lagos, from the 21st day August 2019 to the 1st day of September 2019.

We will continue to build bridges and expand practice options for our members.”

The Chairman commended the Technical Committee for Conference Planning, noting that this Conference promises to be ground breaking in terms of quality, content, ample preparation and an erudite faculty.

Reacting to the development, Ms. Amanda Anyogu, a young lawyer who was given a free one-way ticket by the Branch for being punctual to the meeting said “It is a brilliant development, the flight rate is much cheaper than normal especially for people who will be booking close to the conference date.

This will also benefit lawyers who would ordinarily want to travel to Lagos by road.”

To take advantage of the special rate, send your name, call number, email address and proposed flight date and time to nbaflightclub@gmail.com, or call 08181879697
