The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, has received the Kankara abducted schoolboys.

He received them at the State House on Friday morning, where he assured them that they will be properly taken care of before being handed to their parents.
The governor also assured them that they will each go through proper medical checks while adding that their education will also be taken care of.
The students were escorted into the state capital by heavily armed security operatives.
Some of the schoolboys were still clothed in their school uniforms.

The abducted Kankara schoolboys who have now regained their freedom, have narrated their ordeal in the hands of their abductors.
Speaking to newsmen on Friday morning after the Governor, Aminu Masari, received them at the state House in Katsina.
‘We ate only once in two Days”, one of the boys told newsmen. He also said he was not feeling well, adding that they really suffered while in the bush.
Another boy said they were made to defecate in the same place that they slept.
Governor Aminu Masari had on Thursday night confirmed the release of 344 abducted schoolboys, adding that the boys were at Tsafe, Zamfara State, and would be transported to Kankara today.
Masari also said no ransom was paid before the boys were released.
