A former National Welfare Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Kunle Edun, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to renowned human rights advocate and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani (popularly known as MOU), describing him as one of the top lawyers in the country.
In a goodwill message on Friday, Edun hailed Dr. Ubani’s enduring contributions to the legal profession, noting his track record as a former Chairman of the NBA Ikeja Branch — fondly called the “Tiger Branch” and as a “performing emeritus” Second Vice President of the NBA.
“Today is a special day for one of the top lawyers in Nigeria, Dr. Monday Ubani, SAN, a.k.a MOU,” Edun wrote. “As a former Chairman of the great Tiger (Ikeja) Branch and a performing emeritus 2nd Vice President of the NBA, your records speak well for you.”
He wished Dr. Ubani continued blessings and divine favour, commending his grace and accomplishments over the years.
“I wish you God’s continued blessing and favour as you continue to age gracefully, my learned brother of the silk,” Edun added.
