The Nigerian Law School (NLS) has announced the addition of a Golf Kitty to its 3rd Annual General Conference (AGC) and Triennial General Assembly, scheduled to take place in Abuja in July 2025.

According to the Planning Committee, the Golf Kitty an initiative of the NLS Golf Club will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, a day after the main conference, which is slated for Thursday, July 24, 2025. The venue for the Kitty is the Zuma Rock Golf Course, Km 6 Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria Expressway, Tafa 910103, Niger State.

The addition of the Golf Kitty is being spearheaded by the Captain of the NLS Golf Club and eminent Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, SAN. A notable figure in both legal and sporting communities, Chief Gadzama previously led the Golf Section of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for a decade and now plays a pivotal role in establishing the NLS Golf Club.

Speaking on the development, Chief Gadzama underscored the importance of fostering wellness and camaraderie among legal professionals. “Golf offers not just physical and mental wellness, but also an avenue for meaningful interaction and collaboration among lawyers,” he said.

The Planning Committee encouraged interested participants to register early for both the main conference and the Golf Kitty, noting that the integration of professional networking with leisure is a significant step forward in promoting work-life balance within the legal profession.
