The Inspector General of Police, is expected to join other Police Chiefs from 192 INTERPOL member countries for the event which will last from November 18 through November 21, 2018. The 87th Interpol General Assembly, Dubai 2018, has brought together Police Chiefs, officials of public security departments and global experts to discuss important safety and security issues worldwide with particular attention to fight against terrorism and other organized crimes. Participants will dialogue on best practices to enhance further cooperation to make the world safer. The Police in a statement signed by Force PRO, Jimoh Moshood, said since assumption of office as the 19th indigenous Inspector General of Police, he has made frantic efforts in ensuring synergy and collaboration with other international security bodies, such as INTERPOL, to tackle security challenges and combat organized crimes in Nigeria.
