How Low Are Campaign Teams Ready To Go? Team DASAN Raises Alarm Over Fake Emails, Misconduct And Dubious Practices In NBA Election Campaigns

It has come to the attention of Team DASAN that some unscrupulous agents loyal to opposing campaign candidates in the run-up to the NBA Elections have been involved in dubious, ungentlemanly and unlawyerly activities in a bid to ridicule the candidacy of Deacon Dele Adesina SAN and promote negative publicity against him in the upcoming Elections.

Some of dubious characters have not only created false emails and began sending spam mails claiming to be Dele Adesina or representatives of DASAN, they also expose emails of recipients of their fictitious emails thereby compromising data privacy of the recipients. We also have information that some unscrupulous elements have forwarded false claims to a telecommunication service provider with the aim of compromising Team DASAN contact numbers; while they have also continued to sponsor derogatory comments about the person of Dele Adesina SAN on the social media. This is just too low!

As for Team DASAN, we would not disrespect the principles and values upon which the legal profession is founded, therefore we would continue to run a clean campaign, while drumming support for Dele Adesina SAN, whose candour, experience, capacity, innovative leadership quality and respect for the best values of the Bar stand him out as a candidate to beat. DASAN has all it takes to reposition and re-engineer the NBA, restore the honour and respectability of the profession, ensure the protection of welfare of members of the Association and promote sustainable democracy and Rule of Law in our Nation.

However, we will like to put these elements on Notice to desist from any further acts of ignobility, calumny and sacrifice of our great values and honour on the altar of political desperation.
