Hon. Nimi Walson-Jack who is a Past General Secretary of the NBA has openly endorsed the candidacy of Dele Adesina SAN. He did this via a Facebook post where he said amongst others that… The man, Julius Oladele Adesina, more popularly known as Dele Adesina, is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). He holds a Master degree in Laws (LLM), and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCI Arb.).

DELE ADESINA is running for the Office of the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in the national election due this July 2020.
DELE ADESINA graduated from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1981 and the Nigerian Law School in 1982. In both institutions, I was two years behind him.
He was the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association from 2002 – 2004. He was, therefore, my predecessor in Office, as he handed over the baton of that Office to me in 2004. I must confess that I was inspired to run for the same office based on the character and honour by which both the late Obi Okwusogu, SAN, and Dele Adesina defined the Office.
Long before his Election as General Secretary, we were all in the trenches, very active in reviving a comatose Nigerian Bar Association, opposing military dictatorship, and fighting for Democracy. The struggle is in Dele Adesina’s DNA.
In a democracy the people have a choice. That choice must be made based on information and reason. The Capacity, Commitment and Character of candidates, based on precedents and antecedents, must weigh more on the minds and hearts of Voters as they decide who to trust with their votes and leadership.
The weight of evidence of experience, history of the struggle for professional emancipation, and strength of Character to stand up for the people and a cause, is clearly in favour of Dele Adesina, SAN.
By this expression of support, I ENDORSE DELE ADESINA, SAN, as the preferred Candidate for PRESIDENT of the NBA.
I humbly plead with members of the NBA to HELP get Dele Adesina, SAN, elected as President.
