The EGBE AMOFIN O’ODUA CONFERENCE 2024, with the theme “Economic Recovery for Nigeria: Problems and Prospects,” has concluded on a high note, receiving praise from Williams Soseipiriye Esq., the former Governor of the Eastern Bar Forum.

Soseipiriye commended the leadership of the Egbe Amofin O’Odua and the conference organizers for their well-articulated and brilliantly packaged event, which took place at the prestigious Airport Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, from June 5th to 7th, 2023.

The conference featured a keynote address by His Excellency Raji Fashola SAN, the former Governor of Lagos State and former Minister of Power, Works and Housing. Fashola’s speech was described as apt, illuminating, and thought-provoking, aligning perfectly with the conference theme.

Another notable speaker at the event was Mr. Femi Falana SAN, who captivated the audience with his fearless and intelligent outline of the numerous challenges facing the Nigerian economy, which he attributed to the actions of past and present government officials.

The conference concluded with a vibrant cultural night, where lawyers from across the country showcased their impressive dance moves, including some newly invented steps.

Soseipiriye extended his felicitations to the Chairman of the Egbe Amofin O’Odua, Aare Olabisi Abiola Olajunju SAN, for his role in keeping the organization united and for organizing a world-class conference.
