The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command apprehended 50 individuals suspected of stealing manhole covers in Abuja. The arrests occurred during a raid at the Kabusa Pantaker Market, a known hub for stolen items.

The operation, led by the FCT Police Command, targeted the market following reports of missing manhole covers across the city. These thefts pose significant safety hazards to motorists and pedestrians.

The police recovered several stolen manhole covers during the raid. The suspects are currently in custody and will face prosecution upon the completion of the investigation.
