The branch yesterday held its election which ushered in new Executive members as Ikechukwu Uwanna emerged the Chairman.
In his goodwill message, Desmond Yamah said: “I heartily congratulate the entire members of NBA, Lagos branch on the successful conduct of their branch elections held yesterday, 30th June, 2021.
“I also use this opportunity to congratulate the past Secretary of the Branch, Mr. Ikechukwu Uwanna and Nta Ekpiken who emerged as the Chairman-Elect and Secretary-Elect of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch respectively as well as every other candidate who took part in the elections.
“The formal concession by the candidates who lost the election is a testament to the fact that the election was free, fair and transparent and is worthy of emulation by other branches.”
