The legal Practitioner made this remark on Thursday following the way members of the public are flouting rules and guidelines set by the federal government and Nigeria Centre for Disease and Control (NCDC) to ease lockdown in Nigeria particularly in Abuja, Lagos, Kano and found states.
According to Irehovbude at times like this, it is expedient for all and sundry to take responsibility and take seriously the need to adhere strictly to safety rules so as to avoid and or prevent the spread of the pandemic currently raving humanity.
“It is laughable that even in the face of obvious realities and its attendant consequences many still do not believe that coronavirus exists.
“Let us take heed therefore for only fools doubt proofs.
“Wash your hands regularly, use your face mask while in public, practice social distancing, avoid Social gatherings, and stay safe.
“Whilst not praying that we lost any of our colleague to this pandemic, let us all be careful, remember that when one dies, people can travel a 100 mile for the burial, but when he’s in need the next-door neighbor suddenly becomes a million mile far,” he said.
