A High Court Federal Captial Territory(FCT) has made the use of protective Face Mask Mandatory before lawyers and litigants can have access to the courtroom.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Chief Judge of FCT High Court, Justice I.U Bello, FNIALS, with the Ref No: FCT/CJ.185/III/261, addressed to all Judges in FCT, Abuja.

According to the statement sighted by TheNigerialawyer, “Courts are to admit only such a number of persons that will allow for the maintenance of reasonable social distancing of at least 6 feet (2meters) between them subject to a max6of 15 persons per time.

“All Parties in court must also wear protective face masks.”
