The Intellectual Property Institute Nigeria has opened registration for its upcoming IP Valuation Certification Programme, scheduled to hold virtually from Wednesday, July 1 to Friday, July 3, 2026.

The Institute, described as Nigeria’s foremost accredited intellectual property certifying body, said the programme is designed for legal practitioners, corporate executives, creative industry professionals, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders seeking practical knowledge of intellectual property valuation and management.

According to the Institute, intellectual assets have become some of the most valuable components of modern businesses, making the ability to accurately assess, protect and leverage IP an essential professional skill.

The intensive three-day certification programme will expose participants to key areas of IP valuation, licensing, and strategic portfolio management.

The training will begin at 11:00 a.m. daily and will be delivered online. Faculty members will be drawn from the Institute’s pool of certified intellectual property practitioners and experts.

The programme is recommended for IP attorneys, litigation lawyers, in-house corporate counsel, brand managers, marketing executives, tech entrepreneurs, fintech founders, entertainment professionals and media practitioners.

The course fee is ₦85,000 for members of the Institute and ₦120,000 for non-members.

The Institute also disclosed that group registration discounts are available, advising interested organisations and participants to contact the secretariat for details.

To register, interested participants are required to send their full name, organisation and contact details to certifications@ipinstitute.org.ng or call 09047777007.

The Institute said payment details and further instructions will be provided upon confirmation of registration.

Registration closes on June 30, 2026, while early registration is strongly advised.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded certification by the Intellectual Property Institute Nigeria.
