Following the CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, the Chairman of NBA Effurun Branch, DON O. EGHO ESQ, Ch.MC and Members of the Executive Committee have announced an indefinite postponement of the branch Monthly General Meeting.

The announcement was made by the Branch Publicity Secretary, K. O. Idisi, Esq. FICMC on Thursday the 26th day of March 2020.

According to him the postponement is in line with professional advisories issued by the relevant domestic and international authorities on measures to prevent the spread of novel COVID-19.

The Chairman of the branch urged all members to continue to observe good hygiene necessary to stay safe from the COVID 19 which includes regular washing of hands with soap under a running water for at least 20 seconds, use of hand sanitizers, observance of social distancing of at least 6 feet, avoidance of handshakes and hugs, sneezing into a disposable tissue paper in the inner elbow where tissue paper is unavailable.

“Whilst regretting any inconvenience the postponement may have caused distinguished members, the Publicity Secretary maintained that the decision is in the best interest of her members in the thick of the spread of the Novel Corona Virus,” the statement reads.

Nigerian Bar Association Effurun Branch had earlier scheduled 29th day of March, to hold her General Monthly Meeting.
