* …Squandered Boss’s Money With Two Girls In Hotel An 18-year-old boy Adeboye Micheal and two of his friends Nafiu Ojo and Abdullahi Lawal have been arrested by police detectives attached to the Police Ogun State Command for allegedly faking his kidnap in order to extort money from his master. Police source disclosed that unknown to the master Oluwoju Ojo Abioidun that Michael had planned to collect money from him to enable him have a fabulous Christmas he went to lodge a complaint to the police at Oke-Itoku Police Station that his boy had been kidnapped. The master we gathered had told the police that he had sent Michael to the bank to deposit the sum of N500,000 only for him to receive a call after some hours that the boy had been kidnapped and that they need N1million for him to gain his freedom. The master had informed the police that the acclaimed kidnappers had told him that he only need to balance them the sum of N500,000 since they have already collected the N500,000 which he sent him to deposit in the bank. Confirming the story to Daily Independent, Deputy Superintendent of Police,DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi who is the state’s police spokesman said “upon the report, the case was transferred to Anti-Kidnapping section in Eleweran after a preliminary investigation at Oke-Itoku. “The men of Anti-kidnapping section subsequently embarked on a technical based investigation and when the suspects discovered that their game will soon be up, the acclaimed victim emerged with series of story on his fake abduction. “Unknown to him that the Police are on the trail of his so called abductor two days after, the duo of Nafiu Ojo and Abdullahi Lawal were tracked down and apprehended on the 13th Dec, 2018. “On interrogation, they narrated how Adeboye Micheal contracted them to act as kidnappers and put a call through to his boss in order to make away with the N500, 000 in his possession. “Upon their confession, the said Adeboye Micheal was subsequently arrested. He made a confessional statement that he only lodged in a hotel with two girls where he squandered his boss money which he supposed to deposit at the bank. The leftover of N120, 000 being part of the money was recovered from him.” Oyeyemi revealed.
