Billionaire businessman and industrialist, Olorogun Oskar Ibru, has died at the age of 67, following a brief illness, according to his family. Further details surrounding his passing have not been disclosed.

Oskar Ibru, a central figure in Nigeria’s corporate landscape, played a key role in making the Ibru Organisation one of the country’s most recognisable corporate brands.

His leadership and vision helped sustain the legacy of the Ibru family, years after the death of the family patriarch, Michael Ibru, in 2016.

The family is expected to announce burial arrangements in due course.
