It might not be all that celebration in the camp of Atiku Abubakar, even if the former Vice President eventually wins his petition against President Muhammadu Buhari, which verdict is only some days ahead, no thanks to the sudden death of Hajiya Jamila Yusuf Dankofa, wife of Prof. Yusuf Dankofa, one of Atiku Abubakar’s lawyers at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

News of the sad incident, was broken by Atiku, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), via his Twitter handle, where he bemoaned the development, describing it as saddening

Atiku, who is challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the February 23 presidential election, prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the decease her sins and grants her eternal rest in Al-Jana Firdauz.

The tweet, read: “I received with sadness news that one of my counsels at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Prof. Yusuf Dankofa, has lost his dear wife, Hajiya Jamila Yusuf Dankofa.

I pray that Almighty Allah forgives her sins and grants her eternal rest in Al-Jana Firdauz.
