Adebola Olarotimi Lema, has demonstrated sportsmanship in the just concluded NBA Lagos branch election.

In a notice signed by Mr. Adebola Olarotimi Lema, he informed the general public that he lost to Mr. Yemi Akangbe who scored a total of 440 votes against him who had a total of 311.

According to him, he has called Mr. Yemi Akange to congratulate him. He also thanked all members of the branch for their time, effort, energy and support in general.

Below reads the message:

”Good evening learned Seniors and Colleagues.

Permit me to inform you that the result of the NBA, Lagos Branch 2019 Election has just been released by the Election Committee.

The result showed Mr. Yemi Akangbe scored 440 votes as against Mr. Adebola Olarotimi LEMA who scored 311 votes.

Mr. Yemi Akangbe has therefore been returned Chairman-elect of the Branch and l have called to congratulate him on his victory.

I thank all members of our great Branch for your time, effort, energy, commitment and support.

God bless NBA Lagos Branch.”

Other results are as follows: For Vice-Chairmanship, Okey Ilofulunwa has a total of 295 (39.6%), Chuks Nwana, 246 votes (33.0%), and Bode Omoboriowo, 204 votes (27.4%). For the post of Secretary, 470 votes goes to Moshood Abiola (63.7%), 208 votes for Tochukwu Chukwumerije, (LATO) (28.2%), and 60 votes for Okereke Obinna Nnaemeka, (8.1%).

For Treasurer, Foluke O. Akinmoladun had all 766 votes while Chinenye Oragwu had a total of 765 votes to cliché the post of Financial Secretary. Egeonu Gloria Ngozi defeated Adefowoke Olubusola Ayo-Ponle by scoring a total of 406 votes against 336 to become the social secretary. Anthonia Enitan Eke emerged as the welfare Secretary with a total of s 767 votes; 768 James Sonde also got all votes to become the Publicity Secretary, but it was a keen contest for the office of the legal Adviser as three members contested for it scoring at least hundred votes.

Harry O. Ukaejiofor got a total of 331 votes (45.8%) against Ebenezar Marcus Ihesiulo and Torbari Dumgbara Nda Smart with 245 and 147 respectively; for provost, Florence Ekwutosi Chijioke-Duru also got all votes of 770, while Ifeoma Catherine Ben emerged as Assistant Secretary with 367 votes, against Elo Adhekpukoli with 260 votes and Hammed Bakare with 115.
