A Canadian Based Nigerian Oluwafemi Adeniran has cried out for help regarding his missing car which he shipped from Canada to Lagos, Nigeria.

Adeniran told TheNigeriaLawyer (TNL) that the brand of the car is a 2010 Toyota Rav4 Sport Edition

He said the car was at the Clarion Terminal before payment was made by his agent. However, after payment, he could not find the car anymore

According to Adeniran, upon intervention of the police and the military, Clarion Terminal accepted responsibility for the missing car and requested for rough estimate but up till date nothing has been done about.

He is therefore seeking assistance of relevant authorities for justice

“I shipped a 2010 Toyota Rav4 Sport Edition from Canada last year September, the car arrived Lagos by the End of October.

“I incurred demurrages on this car due to family issue that I was facing then plus my mother was sick (she later died on the 28th of January as 2020.) as at the time the car docked in Lagos. The problem I was facing them restricted me of clearing the car as at due time.

“I seek for a demurrages waiver, which was granted to me and I made duty and balance of the demurrage left on it.

“Before my agent make the payment, he searched for the car at Clarion Terminal and my agent took couple of pictures and sent to me for clarification and I confirmed to him that it was my car, he later made payment thereafter.

“My car was supposed to be released to the agent but it was heavily raining on that day, and the car was unable to release.

On the 23rd of June when my agent went back to the terminal to pick up the vehicle, the car was no where to be found at the same spot the car was spotted.

My Agent informed the Clarion Management and he later went to the Police station to report the case.

“I also involved military men and the went to the Clarion Terminal with the agent and they appealed that the case shouldn’t be excalated more that it was that they will be solely responsible for the Car and the requested for rough estimate.

“Since June 28th 2020 till this moment, nothing has been done.

“That’s why am crying out to Nigerian for help.” Adeniran said
