Edo CJ, Justice E.F. Ikponmwen Inaugurates Committee To Monitor The Activities Of The Lower Courts

Speaking at the inauguration, Honourable Justice  E.F. Ikponmwen stated that the committee is saddled with the responsibility of monitoring the activities of officers of the lower court which are irregular attendance of work, leaving the office at will, soliciting for gratification before performing official duties, delay in performance of official duties, etc. The committee is made up of: 1. Sir S. O. Odigie (Hon. Commissioner, Judicial Service Commission) – Chairman 2. Mohammed O. Yamah (Hon.Commissioner, Judicial Service Commission) –Member 3. Hon. Joe L. Ekpenkhio (Hon. Commissioner, Judicial Service Commission) –Member 4. Austin Omofoman (Hon. Commissioner, Judicial Service Commission) –Member 5. A. E. Aibaogun (Chief Inspector of Courts) –Member 6. M. U. Iluobe (Chief Magistrate Special Grade, Director, Inspectorate Division) –Member 7. Chairman of the Committee, Sir S. O. Odigie, Esq while speaking promised that they will carry out the task effectively, he also thanked his lordship for the privilege given to them to serve the state judiciary.]]>
