The Second Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association and Founder of Onyekachi Ubani Foundation, Monday Ubani Esq, has raised an eyebrow over the recent speculation in the news that President Buhari is contemplating to effect a change in the personnel of the various ministries especially in Power, Works and Land ministries headed by Mr Raji Fashola, SAN. The speculation also goes that the change will affect Mr. Fashola who may be restricted to Works and Land Ministries while the Ministry of Power will be assigned to a Northener or a South Easterner. According to Mr Ubani: ”When I read that piece of news, my antenna was up and it sounded very suspicious for me.” Sequel to this speculation, the Second Vice president of the NBA has outlined five reasons for his suspicion: (1) The power sector has been under manipulation by the elites for so many years and they are benefitting profusely from its inefficiency. (2) Some attempts made by bold ministers like Bola Ige and Prof. Barth Nnaji led to catastrophic result for them. (3) There is a cabal whose demonic interest is not to see Nigeria lighted perpetually as they are billionaires from our darkness. (4) For Nigeria to have stable power in our time, structures, framework and proper foundation have to be laid and it will take some time (not a short time) to lay this foundation and framework in place. (5) The truth is that these frameworks, foundation, policies and structures are speedily being laid in order to get it right by Mr Fashola hence the parasites are uncomfortable and have started to manipulate the system including dishing out false information in order to kick out Mr Fashola so that we will be taken backwards and remain in perpetual darkness as usual. (6) The parasites always manipulate the leadership in Aso Rock especially when they know that the leadership are not well grounded in knowledge of the power intricacies and possesses the political will to solve the power problem in the interest of the citizens. The truth of the matter is that there is a serious attempt by Fashola to diversify our power system through power mix to get Nigeria out of total darkness. It is ongoing and it will take some time to accomplish. We need him and we need to give him some time which is necessary to get our ass right. GIVE FASHOLA TIME, HE DESERVES IT, WE DESERVE IT!]]>
