Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, is currently delivering the 12th Pastor E.A. Adeboye Annual Public Lecture at the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Redemption City on Saturday.

The lecture, themed “Leveraging Nigeria’s Young Population for National Growth and Development,” is being held to mark the 84th birthday anniversary of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The public lecture is taking place at The Youth Centre, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Redemption City of God, KM 46 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.

The event, which commenced at 11:00 AM, is organised by the Triumphant Elders Consultative Forum, a group of retired senior Pastors in RCCG who have served faithfully without any blemish.

The Pastor E.A. Adeboye Public Lecture is an annual event specially put together to mark the birthday of the General Overseer.

According to the organisers, the Public Lecture which has been running for some years now has proved to be a veritable instrument for propagating the gospel and a platform for generating ideas aimed at addressing issues of national and international interest.

“From the feedbacks we have received thus far, each of the past lectures had been a tremendous blessing to teeming multitudes within and outside Nigeria,” the organisers stated.

The past eleven editions, which by the grace of God were highly successful and impactful, have featured prominent Nigerians from various walks of life as speakers.

Previous speakers include Professor Yemi Osinbajo (before he became Vice President), Dr. Christopher Kolade, Professor Wale Tomori, Professor Michael Omolewa, Professor Jide Osuntokun, Pastor Femi Atoyebi, SAN, Bishop Hassan Kukah, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, and Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, who handled the last edition.
