The youngest of seven children, Arkpriest began his academic journey at State Primary School, Apapa, Lagos State, where he earned his First School Leaving Certificate. He later attended Federal Government College, Kankon, Badagry, and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate.
His educational pursuit did not end there. Arkpriest holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computing and Its Practice from the Open University, United Kingdom, as well as a professional certificate in Network Engineering from NIIT Nigeria.
This strong technical background contributes to his unique artistic identity, blending analytical thinking with expressive creativity — an influence that subtly informs his music and storytelling.
Although his passion for music emerged early in life, Arkpriest began singing at the age of 22 as a personal, non-professional pursuit. Over time, life experiences, introspection, and exposure to diverse cultures shaped his artistic vision and refined his sound.
Having lived in the United States and now based in Canada, his music reflects a global perspective, exploring themes of identity, purpose, and spiritual awakening.
