The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced that Dayo Ashonibare, lecturer at Baze University, and former Head of Practice at Levite Solicitors & Arbitrators will participate as a panelist at the 65th Edition of the NBA Annual General Conference.

The event is scheduled to hold from August 22 to 29, 2025, at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Enugu, Enugu State. Themed “Stand Out, Stand Tall”, this year’s conference aims to promote excellence, innovation, creativity, and economic diversification in the legal profession, while upholding justice and equity.

Expected to draw over 22,000 delegates, the conference builds on last year’s 18,000-participant turnout. The keynote address will be delivered by South African political leader, Mr. Julius Malema, of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), on Sunday, August 24, at 4:00 pm.

A key highlight will be Breakout Session V, themed “Trailblazing Without Borders”, where Ashonibare will join other distinguished practitioners to share insights on the future of legal practice, personal experiences navigating uncharted territories, and strategies for fostering innovation and impact across borders.
