The family of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District, has officially announced the date for his burial. Senator Ubah, who passed away in London in July 2024, will be laid to rest on Friday, November 22, 2024.

In a statement signed by his eldest son, Ifeanyi Ubah Jr., the family expressed their deep sadness over the loss of the prominent senator. They described him as “a loving husband, father, and respected statesman.” The statement acknowledged the impact of his passing, noting, “His departure has left a deep void, but we are comforted by the overwhelming support from friends, well-wishers, and the general public.”

The family indicated that additional details, including the schedule and venues for the burial events, will be provided by the National Burial Committee. This committee is working to ensure that the arrangements reflect the senator’s significant legacy of public service, leadership, and philanthropy.

The family has expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult period. They have invited those wishing to send condolence messages to forward them to an official email address set up for the occasion.
