Nyada Auta, a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Suleja Branch, has formally declared his intention to run for the position of National Welfare Secretary in the upcoming 2024 NBA Elections.

With a proven track record of service to the Bar at both the branch and national levels, Auta is seeking the support of his fellow lawyers to take on this crucial role.
Auta has served on the NBA National Welfare Committee for two consecutive terms, from 2020 to the present, and currently holds the position of Secretary of the NBA Legal Education Committee. Drawing on his extensive experience and dedication to the welfare of Nigerian lawyers, Auta pledges to prioritize the well-being of every member of the NBA if elected as the National Welfare Secretary.
In his announcement, Auta stated, “I come before you with an untainted track record of service to the Bar, both at the branch and national levels, and a commitment to use my experience, ingenuity, honesty, and dedication to ensure that your welfare is given the highest priority over the next two years.”
Auta’s campaign slogan, “Your Welfare First,” underscores his commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian lawyer benefits from the NBA through the efficient and effective administration of the office of the National Welfare Secretary. He plans to present his detailed track record of service in the coming days, which will serve as the foundation for his candidacy.
