*Burial Rites Announced By Family

The family of Late Mr. and Mrs. Cosmas Emodi Onuoma of Ozuh Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area of Imo State has formally announced the passing of their mother, Dr. Lovenah Ikodiya Onuoma (nee Iroegbu). Dr. Onuoma transitioned to glory on March 30, 2024, after a brief illness.

In a statement released by Ikechukwu Onuoma, SAN, on behalf of the family, the burial rites have been scheduled as follows:

Wake Keep Mass in Enugu:

  • Venue: Blessed Sacrament Parish, Independence Layout
  • Date: April 23, 2024
  • Time: 5pm

Burial Mass:

  • Venue: St Rose of Lima Parish, Ozuh Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State.
  • Date: April 26, 2024
  • Time: 10am

Internment:

  • The compound of Late Chief P.U Onuoma (Eze Anache) Ozuh Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State.
  • Date: April 26, 2024
  • Time: immediately after the Mass

Thanksgiving mass:

  • Venue: St Rose of Lima Parish, Ozuh Omuma, Oru East Local Government Area, Imo State
  • Date: April 27, 2024
  • Time: 10am

The family requests that Masses and prayers be offered for the gentle repose of Dr. Onuoma’s soul, in keeping with her faith and wishes. Goodwill messages to feature in the brochure can be sent to nwachukwuegbunike@gmail.com on or before Friday, April 12, 2024.

Dr. Lovenah Ikodiya Onuoma is survived by her children: Dr. Chinyere Okafor, Ikechukwu Onuoma SAN, Chukwuka Onuoma, Engr. Chukwudi Onuoma, Arc Chibueze Onuoma, Chineme Onuoma Esq, and Engr. Uchechukwu Onuoma.
