The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Enugu Branch is grieving the loss of one of its dedicated members, Evangelist D.O.C Ezeigwe Esq. who passed away recently.

In a tribute, former Governor of the Eastern Bar Forum, S. Long Williams Esq. celebrated the life of the deceased whom he described as a committed and excellent bar man that was a pillar of the forum.

“It is sad, sad indeed to know that we just lost Evangelist D.O.C Ezeigwe, member, Nigerian Bar Association, Enugu Branch. A dedicated, committed and excellent Bar man. One of the pillars of the Eastern Bar Forum and a gentleman par excellence,” his statement read in part.

According to NBA Enugu, Ezeigwe’s transition is a monumental loss to the branch and the entire Eastern Bar Forum where he played active leadership roles and supported various causes while he was alive.

Williams conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the branch to the bereaved family, friends and professional colleagues of the late lawyer. He prayed for comfort and strength for all mourning the evangelist and bar icon.

“D.O.C, the great Evangelist, I mourn and miss you. Rest in peace,” the tribute added in honor of the huge void left by his exit. He was described as a titan that would be sorely missed across legal circles.
