Former General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, has congratulated the lawyers recently conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).

In a congratulatory message, Osigwe described the honor as a recognition of the new SANs’ exceptional legal skills and a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of the profession.
He reminded them that as Senior Advocates, they serve as beacons in the justice system tasked with ensuring fairness, integrity and contributing meaningfully towards the rule of law.
The senior lawyer urged the newly elevated lawyers to wear the privileged robe with humility while vigorously pursuing justice and protecting rights. He expressed confidence that their exemplary conduct and tireless commitment to the legal ideals will leave an impact.
Osigwe charged the SANs to always remember that the prestige bestowed upon them should advance the greater good and not just personal interests. He wished the Inner Bar members continued excellence as they take on the solemn duties of Senior Advocates.
