Obra Legal LLP yesterday held an opening ceremony to kick off its global internship and mentorship program.

His Lordship, Hon. Justice Nnenna.C. Madu, Justice of the Customary Court of Appeal, attended the event as a keynote speaker for the ceremony, which was chaired by Ugwu Stanley. Also present was Obra Legal’s managing partner, Ikechukwu Onuoma Esq.
His Lordship gave an inspiring speech on her journey to “the bench” during the keynote address.
She recounted memories of her time spent both working at the bar and now sitting on the bench. She also underlined the importance of having an impact in whatever sector of life you are in.
The keynote address was followed by an opportunity for the interns to ask appropriate questions.
At the end of the ceremony, the interns expressed their gratitude to His Lordship Nnenna Madu for the insights and inspiration shared.
