2021 #NBA-AGC: Collection Of Conference Materials Commences

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, has said announced that the collection of conference materials for the 2021 Annual General Conference, AGC, Commences on October 22, 2021.

The AGC will take place from the 22nd – 29th October 2021 at Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The Conference will be Hybrid (Virtual and Physical participation).

In-person delegates are expected to collect their conference materials at the accreditation stand of the venue.

COLLECTION OF CONFERENCE MATERIALS

Conference materials collection will commence on Friday, 22^nd October 2021 at 2 pm and ends Tuesday, 26^th October 2021 at 12 noon.

In-Person Delegates may pick up their conference materials at the Accreditation Centre in Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, Port-Harcourt on – Friday, 22^nd October 2021 – 2 pm – 9 pm

Saturday, 23^rd October 2021 – 9 am – 9 pm

Sunday, 24^th October 2021 – 9 am – 9 pm

Monday, 25^th October 2021 – 8 am – 9 pm

Tuesday, 26^th October 2021 – 8 am – 12 Noon (Collection of Conference Materials Ends)

PLEASE NOTE:

1. In-Person Delegates are required to wear their face masks throughout the Conference and comply with all COVID-19 protocols and health and safety directives. Delegates not in compliance will not be attended to.
2. In-Person registration closed on Thursday, 30^th September 2021 and there is no onsite registration for InPerson attendance. Online registration for Virtual attendance will close on Wednesday, 27^th October 2021.
3. To gain access to the Accreditation Centre, all delegates will be required to present –
   1. Conference registration confirmation email sent to delegates from info@nbaconference.com with the subject “NBA AGC 2021 – Confirmation of Registration.” and A valid government-issued photo identity card (international passport, drivers’ licence, voters’ card, national identify card).

4. Each delegate is required to note his/her Conference registration number (e.g. Idemili – 0001) contained in the Conference registration confirmation email (same email as 3a above). The registration number contained in the email will be used to identify delegates for collection of Conference materials.
5. Conference materials will be collected according to delegates NBA Branches. All NBA Branches have been grouped alphabetically into collection booths with numbers as listed below. Kindly collect your Conference materials at the booths number under which your Branch name is listed.
6. Judges, Attorneys-General, Benchers, and Senior Advocates of Nigeria Conference materials will be collected in booth 35.
7. Group delegates (group registration) and AGC sponsors are to collect their Conference materials in booth 36. The designated group leader will be required to present a printed letter of authorization from the organization (containing the list of all group members who registered together under the group registration), authorizing the group leader to pick up Conference materials on their behalf.
8. There is no proxy collection for individual delegates.
9. Branches are not considered as group delegates. Members of branches not registered as a group must collect their conference materials individually.
10. Access into the main AGC Venue shall be restricted to delegates wearing their name tags.
11. Delegates may however access the Accreditation Centre for the purpose of collecting their name tags.
