The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) has fixed Tuesday 21st of September, 2021 for a valedictory court session in honour of its former Chairperson, late Hauwa Shekarau

The former chairman of the Abuja NBA Branch died on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 after a brief illness.

In a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer signed by its Publicity Secretary, Ikemefuna Onyeka, the Unity Bar enjoins lawyers to fully participate on the valedictory court session as a sign of last respect to the deceased.

VALEDICTORY! VALEDICTORY!! VALEDICTORY!!!

Members are hereby notified of the Valedictory Court Session in honour of late Dr. Hauwa Shekarau who until her demise was the chairman of NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar).

The valedictory court session is slated to hold as follows;
Date: Tuesday 21st September, 2021
Time: 12:00noon prompt
Venue: Ceremonial Court, FCT High Court Complex, Maitama, Abuja.
Dress code: Fully Robed

Members are encouraged to participate fully as a sign of last respect to our indefatigable chairman who gave her all to betterment of the Unity Bar and NBA in general.

May her gentle soul continue to Rest In Peace. Amen.
