The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. Uchenna Emelonye, Esq, Country Representative, United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Monrovia, Liberia.
Chairman is the Acting Chief Judge of High Court of Justice, Federal Capital Territory Judiciary, Hon. Justice Hussein Baba-Yusuf.
The event’s planning committee chairman, Mr. Steve Emelieze has stated that the theme of this year’s Unity Bar Law Week, ‘Insecurity, Rule of law and Human Rights: Are we on the right path?’ is a reflection of the country’s current state of affairs.
