General Lucky Irabo, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), has called for a more robust and continuous synergy among the Armed Forces to flush out terrorists within the nooks and crannies of the country.

General Irabo who was on a day working visit to 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Odogbo Fajuyi Cantonment Ibadan, on Thursday along with other service chiefs maintained that his visit became necessary to enforce President Muhammadu Buhari’s order on flushing our terrorists from their hideouts in the country.
The CDS in his address maintained that it was very important for all the Armed Forces to continue to work in partnership to ensure that the directives recently given by Mr. President to flush out of their various hideouts across the country within few weeks come to fruition.
“President Buhari has charged us to rebuild and restore peace in the country and we must do that without any compromise,” he said.
“Our purpose of coming here is to demonstrate leadership by example, the order given to us should not be seen as a threat, but as an enforcement order which requires our collective support and partnership,” he added.
General Irabor also paid a courtesy visit to the State Governor at the Agodi State Secretariat, where he was received with other Service Chiefs by the State Deputy Governor, Engr. Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan, on behalf of the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
