The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ihiala Branch through its Chairman, Vitalis Ihedigbo, Esq., has felicitated with Mr. Olumide Akpata on his emergence as NBA President in the concluded elections.

This is contained in a statement issued which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer titled “CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO MR. OLUMIDE AKPATA ON HIS SUCCESSFUL ELECTION AS THE 30TH PRESIDENT OF THE NIGERIAN BAR ASSOCIATION BY THE NBA IHIALA BRANCH ANAMBRA STATE (“THE EAGLE BAR”)”.

“We the entire members of the NBA Ihiala Branch Anambra State (“The Eagle Bar”) heartily felicitate and congratulate Mr. Olumide Akpata on his resounding victory at the just-concluded NBA polls.”

In addition, the statement noted that the victory recorded in the election is for all.

“This victory is for all of us. We also congratulate all the other winners and gallant contestants of various positions and indeed the entire NBA Family ably led by Mr. Paul Usoro SAN for this successful transition.”

Furthermore, it was noted that the expectations are high and restated their confidence in the new Akpata led administration.

“Undoubtedly, the expectations of members of the legal profession and indeed the Nigerian people are very high but we at the Eagle Bar are very confident that Mr. Olumide Akpata and his team are quite formidable and well prepared for the daunting task ahead.”

Finally, the Branch restated its assurance to support the new leadership.

“We send you our best wishes and assure you of our total support as you mount the saddle to reposition the NBA to take it’s rightful place in our National life. God bless us all!” The statement concluded.
