Today July 29th, 2020 is significant as it is the day when election of new officers of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) will commence.

I look back to all that happened in the very adventurous couple of years and I say a very heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported me to achieve this feat. So many of you did not even know me and never met me but you trusted my antecedents and helped to place me at the pedestal of honour.

My two-year tenure has been tough but I came out more matured and experienced, more forthright and emboldened, more resourceful and engaging, more appreciative of people and opportunities and above all most thankful to God Almighty!

From the very bottom of my heart, I say, THANK YOU ALL once again for your love, support and encouragement.

For those that comforted, encouraged and even reprimanded me, I say a hearty thanks for the great education and knowledge I received through the NBA power base! I love and appreciate you all.

To the incoming administration now being elected, I congratulate you all in advance and wish you a very successful tenure.
