The NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) in partnership with Campaign for Justice Initiative and Open Bar Initiative will on 14th July, 2020 hold a rally to demand the release of Emperor Gabriel Ogbonna, a Legal Practitioner, who was arrested by the State Security Service on the 24th March, 2020.

Emperor, remains in detention in defiance to an Order of the Federal High Court, Umuahia Division, granted by the Hon. Justice D. E. Osiagor since the 29th June, 2020 granting bail to Emperor.

The Rally which has attracted the support of a number of Civil Society Organizations will commence by 10:00am from the National Human Rights Commission, Maitama, Abuja, FCT and terminate at the Federal Ministry of Justice.

All members of the NBA Abuja Branch are therefore enjoined to join the March for Rule of Law as scheduled.
