The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Sokoto Branch has concluded its elections on the 27th day of June, 2020 at NBA Secretariat, Garba Duba Road, Sokoto State, which saw the emergence of Muhammad Aliyu Sambo, Esq., as the newly elected Chairman.

Meanwhile, the Election Committee led by a former Attorney General of Sokoto State, Hon Nuhu Adamu ushered in the following executives after a successful conduct of the Branch election:

1. Muhammad Aliyu Sambo : Chairman

2. Safiyya Ummu Muhammad: Vice-Chairman

3. Shafi’u Shehu Auta: Secretary

4. M.K. Abdulkadir: Assistant Secretary

5. Shafau M. Ahmad: Treasurer

6. Suwaiba A. Mustapha: Financial Secretary

7. Muhammad Mansur Aliyu : Publicity Secretary

8. Simon Enejo King: Welfare Secretary

9. Sir Sabatine Okeh: Social Secretary

10. Kabiru Abdullahi: Legal Adviser

11. Abdurrahman Isah Wasagu: Provost

Besides, Mr. Muhammad Nuhu a notary public had duly administered oath of office, taken by all the newly elected Branch executives.
