Ohafia branch of the Nigerian Bar Association on Friday elected new leadership for the branch.

The election which was keenly contested returned Ngozi Norah Ukweni, Esq., as the Chairman.

Ngozi is the first female Chairman in the history of the 5 branches in Abia State.

The Immediate past Chairman Dave Okwun-Kalu, was elected NEC Representative.

Other elected members of the Ukweni led Executive include:

*Obinna Noble Obasi –  Treasurer
*Ngozi Ula Ukoha, Esq – Assistant Secretary

*Agbai Iro Ogbuabia, Esq – Legal Adviser
*Nnanna Udo Igwe, Esq  –  Social Secretary
