The Electoral Committee of NBA Anaocha Branch has successfully concluded the scheduled election after a Biennial General meeting held on Saturday, 27th day of June, 2020 at Chief Magistrate Court, Neni, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

This is contained in a statement signed by the immediate past Secretary of the Branch, Mr. Ugochukwu Okoli, Esq., which was made available to TheNigeriaLawyer.

Meanwhile, it was noted that at the said meeting presided over by the outgone Chairman of the Branch, Jideofor Okongwu Esq., that confidence is still reposed in the Electoral Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ejike Okaphor.

In this light, the offices of Chairman, Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Welfare Secretary and Legal Adviser were accordingly returned unopposed. Therefore, it saw the emergence of the following persons as the Branch new executives:

1. Kaine Ananwune Esq.

2. John Oraekeh Esq.

3. Ifeanyi Chidume Esq.

4. Nelson Onuzurike Esq.

5. Okechukwu Eluogu Esq.

6. Charles Emeka Okeke Esq.

Besides, the statement noted that the other vacant positions would be filled through a bye election to be organized subsequently.

In addition, the newly elected executives have been issued certificates of return by the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Ejike Okaphor and further sworn in by Oluchukwu Udemezue Esq., a Notary Public.

Finally, the newly elected Chairman, Mr. Kaine Ananwune Esq. gave his acceptance speech on behalf of the newly elected officers and urged all members to support the new administration.
