Mr. Aliyu Imuekemhe popularly known as “Mc. Person” has shared another comic video titled “On the primary duty of a Lawyer”.

The video is a hypothetical Court session where a Lawyer raised an objection to the jurisdiction of the Court on the premise that the opposing Counsel did not wear a face mask and therefore, should not be heard.

Also, the objection was founded on the Guidelines of the National Judicial Council (NJC) on Court Sittings & Practice Direction, to the effect that all Court users are to mandatorily wear face mask.

Meanwhile, the objection was later withdrawn but the Court later held that not wearing of face mask is not capable of ousting its jurisdiction.
