Mr. Dele Adesina, SAN has assured all his supporters that notwithstanding the current issues trending Mr. Adesina Adegbite’s competency to nominate him for the NBA President, as a result of his alleged missing 2018 Bar Practicing Fee, all his supporters should not panic as there is no cause for alarm.

This is contained in a statement made available to TheNigeriaLawyer where he states:

“To TEAM DASAN nationwide, Friends, supporters, and members of the Nigerian Bar Association, our love and passion for the Nigerian Bar Association will not be in vain. Please be at peace. There is no cause for alarm at all. Remember, politics brings out the worst in men. I am confident and optimistic that the situation will be rectified.”

Furthermore, he noted that the petition written on the basis of Mr. Adegbite’s 2018 BFC does not say that he didn’t pay but that it was yet to be found.

“I have read the petition of one Valeria Nwadike said to be a member of Nigerian Bar Association Ikeja Branch asking for my disqualification on the ground that NBA Ikeja could not find Mr. Adesina Adegbite’s (my Seconder) record of payment of his 2018 Bar Practicing Fee in NBA Ikeja.

“Please, note very particularly that the NBA Ikeja Electoral Committee headed by my Learned Brother Silk, Mr. Tunde Adejuyigbe SAN, did not say that Mr. Adesina Adegbite did not pay Bar Practicing Fee for 2018 but only said that they did not see his record of payment in NBA Ikeja at the time of taking their decision.” He said.

“This is notwithstanding the fact that THE ACCESS BANK PAYMENT RECEIPT WAS PRESENTED TO THE BRANCH ELECTORAL COMMITTEE.” He added.

TheNigeriaLawyer recalls that the former Welfare National Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA), Adesina  Adegbite  Esq., refuted all allegations against him that he is not qualified to nominate Mr. Dele Adesina, SAN to contest in the forthcoming NBA National Elections on the premise that one of his nominators, Mr.Adegbite Esq., is himself not qualified to contest for an election for failure to pay the 2018 Bar Practicing Fee, allegedly missing in the record of the Branch.
