Senior Partner at Templars and immediate former Chairman of the NBA Section on Business Law, Mr. Olumide Akpata, has expressed sadness over the death of Mr D. M. N. Nweke.

In a statement issued this morning, he said “My deepest sympathies are with the NBA Onitsha Branch, and indeed, the entire NBA, for the passing unto glory of a calm but vibrant and dedicated member of the NBA Onitsha Branch – Mr D.M.N. Nweke.
Death is a certain end, although none of us wishes for that end to befall us or our loved ones, but it ultimately meets everyone. The certainty of death does not, however, obviate the pain and sorrow it inflicts on the people who care about the deceased.
Mr. Akpata went ahead to offer prayers for the families, friends and colleagues of the deceased. He also prayed for repose for the deceased “For this reason, I pray that God will comfort Mr. Nweke’s family, friends, and all of us – his colleagues – during this difficult time, and also strengthen everyone that is affected by his death with the fortitude to bear this colossal loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Nweke’s family, friends and colleagues. May he continue to rest in the bosom of God forever and ever.
