The news of the death of Her Worship, Stella Ezeputa, came to me as a great shock, and I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to the Anambra State Judiciary, FIDA Anambra State Chapter and to her family, friends, colleagues and loved ones.

During her lifetime, not only was she an intelligent and hardworking Magistrate in the Onitsha Magisterial District, she still found time to serve as the Treasurer of FIDA Anambra State, despite her busy docket as a Magistrate.

Her death has created a huge gap in her family, the Anambra State Judiciary, FIDA and the entire legal profession. My prayer is that God will comfort all of us during this difficult time and grant everyone the fortitude to bear this loss.

May the soul of Her Worship rest in the bosom of the Almighty God.
